Content orientation and results:

The research project NeuENV set itself the goal of securing the critical infrastructure food supply in a crisis situation.

The NeuENV project was a first step for the research at the German Red Cross (GRC) to be able to work on the topic of disaster services/catering service for the association. In the first step, an analysis of the current nutritional provision capacity was carried out. Based on this, recommendations for action and general guidelines for aid organisations and actors in civil protection were developed.

Within the project, the GRC research was able to investigate the GRC support service/catering service and its link to regional emergency nutrition strategies.
