Thousands of people from politically and economically unstable Venezuela flee to Colombia, Peru and Ecuador every day. Supported by the GRC, the Colombian, Peruvian and Ecuadorian Red Cross are helping refugees along the migration routes with various health services, essential relief supplies, contact options with relatives and guidance. The humanitarian assistance, which began in Colombia, was extended to Peru and Ecuador in 2019.
